Wayfaring Stranger.

My recital piece.

In other news....
Ah, editing.
I just had an idea to make my bad guy's motive more "real." The only problem? I'm afraid it won't seem very original. Plus it will effect some things that happen later on in the novel... So now I have to decide whether I write it in or not. I think I shall and see how it goes.

One of the things I like about being a writer is all the "mwahahahaaa" moments.

They come (at least for me) when I kill a character or write something really clever.
Example (which I just wrote):

He was deathly pale, as if he had just awoken from a peaceful night’s sleep in his coffin.
Of course... no one in my book is actually a vampire. And no one has a coffin (like Queequeg from Moby Dick). But... mwahahaha.

Well, back to editing.

  1. Oh my goodness xD I love that raccoon picture.

Beautiful piano-ing! I really liked the piece. It sounded a bit like a rag, except I could tell you were using pedal so I'm guessing its not.

Yes, villain motives are tough. I say go for it, even if it is a little cliche. It's better than being unreasonable. (I know I need to fix my villainous motives.)

  2. Eh... A lot isn't original these days so don't fret too much about it. (: Go for it! You can always change it later...
