I Have Confidence

I have been taking voice lessons for two and a half years, but something really clicked in the past six months (no doubt thanks to my wonderful voice teacher!)
My recital was last night, and I sang I Have Confidence from The Sound of Music.
I hope you enjoy!

Live long and prosper!

  1. What a fun song to do! You have a very nice voice, and good job on that high note at the end! My voice tends to give out on high notes; I need to exercise it more.

    1. "Trust the air!" my voice teacher would say. Singing is really all about the breath support. I used to not be able to get very much higher than a D or an E (sometimes F or G... but it usually ended up screechy and unpleasant) but now I'm way up at a B and C because of proper breathing technique!

  2. Bravo! I still know all the words of that song and all the rest. My cousin Wendy and I biked through Holland singing all those songs.
